A common phrase used by impressed laymen to a good magician is a sheepish "I will never play cards with you".

How does one be be proficient enough in card magic to be credited with such awestruck respect? In essence, a tall building requires a strong foundation and a doctor needs  good knowledge about medicine. Thus, an entertaining magician needs to be able to perform his card routines well and without hesitation.

Hello to all men and women of SMC, it has come to the end of 2007 and it is time to wrap things up with a bang.

2007 has been an eventful year for SMC, with many monthly gathering and the biggest of all being Legerdemain!! SMC has also taken part in several big charity gigs and colarborated shows with Ulu Pandan Community Club. For those who have been with SMC long enough would know that this has never been achieved in previous years. It is therefore important to give year 2007 a closure and look forward to 2008, a year that is going to be filled with even more excitment and magic.

Without a doubt, our team of dedicated moderators deserve a big pat on the back, but all these would not have been possible without the support of all you SMC members. And we moderator would like to thank all of you in our own little special way.

So mark your calanders and come down for a end of year cum christmas party bash!

Another gathering; another resounding success! To think that some our SMC gatherings started with just 6 people early this year after the Chalet of December 06. It's truly a blessing to see so many of you guys showing up and showing your support! This event is great because of you guys!

A big word of thanks go out to all the many familiar faces returning from the previous meetings - I hope you guys have found a nice home with us. I always enjoy seeing a familiar face! biggrin.gif

Singapore Arts Festival 8 - 10 July 2007 PDF E-mail

The Singapore Arts Festival 2007 kicked off on the 25th May. A Family Fun event was held at the HDB Hub (Toa Payoh) - just one of the many events promoting the Arts scene here in Singapore. There was song, dance and many other activities amidst the hustle and bustle of the HDB Hub Mall. Some of our SMC members were there to add to the festivities. smile.gif
