This was the 1st SMC Close-up/Parlour competition that was held on the 7th of Jan 2005 at Munchie Monkey Cafe, NUS.
It was quite a feat putting the event together because, at that time, SMC was only 4 months old and it was one of SMC's most successful events ever. Aloy and Ning were the main coordinators for this event and all the mods at that time helped out as much as they could.
It was a ticketted event and we had over 100 attendees filling the place to the max.

The judges for the Competition were: Bernard Sim, Jeremey Pei, Cynwell, and a Layman judge from the Cafe's management.

The MC for the evening was Ning.

There was a lot of magic going on that night, both on stage and off stage.
